We have stayed at Many Glacier on a number of occasions. While most of the time we were lucky enough to have a balcony, the setting is great even if you don't. The hotel offers few amenities other than the setting. Many hiking trails start in the area. We love Many Glacier.

The accomodations were rustic but comfortable. Replacing the ancient hot water heat with individual room heaters was a good idea. The bathroom and shower were small but adequate. We had a lakeside ground level room and couldn't wait for the sun to come up each morning. The alpenglow was fantastic, especially the morning we left the Many Glacier area. Mother nature showed her best bib and tucker to see us off--complete with a "steaming" Swiftcurrent Falls. FANTASTIC STAY !!!! I wouldn't stay anywhere else in the park for more than one day --would have to get back to Many. Our stay was topped off on Sunday evening by a long-awaited "Hootenanny" - revived from the sixties. Was glad to hear the entertainment is coming back. Maybe we need Ian Tippett back to run things. :o)

This is my all-time favorite place to stay in the park! To me, it's located in the most beautiful part of the park and is a wonderful piece of history. No visit to Glacier is complete without a stay here. My room was one of their value rooms, with a single queen bed. The room was clean and comfortable and relatively large for a single person. The bathroom was a little on the small side, but the claw-foot tub with the wrap-around shower curtain was fun (although I recommend they put some sort of tub mat there to keep from possible slips). Sparsely furnished, this room (along with the other places I stayed at in the park) comes with the little toiletries one expects to find in a motel (shampoo, conditioner, lotion, shower cap). There are of course stairs, but only one elevator in the main portion of the hotel. The restaurant menu is essentially the same as the menus in the other lodges within the park (so at least they are consistent). The food was ok, nothing spectacular, but t

Glacier Pictures Did you know?
Did you know there are only 6 peaks over 10,000 feet high in Glacier - Cleveland, Stimpson, Kintla, Jackson, Siyeh, and Merritt.
